Singing Tower Tile Grille Ornament

Inspired by the intricate mosaic tile work adorning the Singing Tower, this ornament will serve as a beautiful reminder of the artistry involved in that magnificent structure.

J. H. Dulles Allen, founder of Enfield Pottery and Tileworks near Philadelphia, created the massive and colorful tile grilles that adorn the openings of the Singing Tower's bell chamber, allowing the sounds of the bells to fill the Gardens. Through skillful craftsmanship of metal and tile, Dulles Allen transformed trees, birds, turtles and other plants and animals into a unique piece of art.

This ornament is patterned off a tile mural depicting koi fish and water grasses installed in an opening found on the Singing Tower's east side.  The ornament is made of solid brass, is electro-plated with a non-tarnishing silver finish, and is accented with premium pigment paints.  It measures 4¼" high X 1¾" wide and includes a blue ribbon for easy hanging.  It comes attractively boxed with fascinating information about the ornament.
