Carillon Bourdon Bell Ornament

This sparkling 2-dimensional ornament is made of brass and represents the largest bell in the Singing Tower known as the Bourdon bell. The Bourdon bell weighs almost twelve tons and was cast by October 1926 with an inscription paying tribute to Edward Bok's grandparents and those responsible for the creation of the Singing Tower and surrounding gardens.

The details of the Bourdon bell are perfectly captured in this ornament, including the layout of the tribute inscription, while the back of the ornament contains fascinating information about the Singing Tower carillon.  Looks great on any tree and is the perfect gift to remember this remarkable instrument at Bok Tower Gardens.
