Osprey Mug

This 12oz ceramic mug has a glossy protective exterior and a c-curved handle for an easy comfort grip.  It showcases artwork by renowned artist and naturalist John J Audubon (1785–1851).  His paintings were used to create his landmark Birds of America...a book with 435 lifelike images glorifying the beauty of North American birds that helped spur early conservation efforts.

This mug features a reproduction of Audubon's painting of an Osprey with a Weakfish in its talons. Shown in profile, the Osprey conveys a sense of strength and agility.  The image is displayed on both sides of the mug while the front of the mug has the Bok Tower Gardens' name and Audubon's signature inside a lovely green trim.
